CIFAL Lebanon, in collaboration with CIS College, is pleased to present a workshop on “Artificial Intelligence & Professional Skills.”
This workshop is part of an ongoing effort to integrate digital innovation and sustainability into education and capacity-building. It provides a practical introduction to AI tools and applications while strengthening the professional competencies needed to succeed in today’s workplace.
By linking technology with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the course equips participants with future-ready skills that support productivity, adaptability, and innovation in Lebanon and the wider region.
The workshop will officially commence once the minimum enrollment quota is reached. The tentative start date is October 1, 2025. Early registration is encouraged to secure participation.
Certification Policy
Participants of this workshop will be eligible for a certificate based on the conditions below:
- Certificate of Participation: Awarded to participants who attend at least 75% of any two days of the three-day workshop.
- Certificate of Completion: Awarded to participants who attend at least 75% of all three days of the workshop and completed all assessments.
Workshop Overview
The primary objective of this workshop is to introduce participants to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence while highlighting its role in enhancing workplace and professional skills. Specifically, the course aims to:
- Provide a clear, accessible introduction to AI concepts and applications.
- Demonstrate how AI can be used to improve communication, problem-solving, and decision-making in professional settings.
- Explore the connection between AI adoption, sustainability, and the SDGs, emphasizing responsible and ethical use of technology.
- Strengthen participants’ ability to adapt to the demands of the digital economy through applied learning.
Event Objectives
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
- Define the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence and its main workplace applications; Explain how AI tools enhance professional tasks, from communication to data management; Identify opportunities to apply AI in increasing efficiency and innovation; Recognize the ethical and sustainability dimensions of AI in the context of the SDGs; Understand the role of AI in shaping the skills needed for the digital economy; Apply AI tools through guided exercises that simulate professional scenarios.
